Bathroom Remodeling tips to create a spa in your Queens home

admin November 5, 2014 Bathroom Remodeling Queens

We all love the feeling of walking into a spa and feeling the vibe of the relaxing sounds while stimulating our eyes with the relaxing visual sensations. I feel more and more people are too intimidated to hire a bathroom remodeling contractor and create a spa in their own home. Perhaps is it because many residents in my home town of Queens feel their cluttered apartment and small bathroom has no potential to become anything close to a spa. The reason I am writing this article is to convince my fellow Queens residents that a good bathroom remodeling company can indeed work with small space and make you a mini spa that will still be adequate enough to float your “spa loving” boat. I will now provide you with tips on how to accomplish this seemingly impossible task.

First off, convince your 5 senses that you are actually in a real spa (and not your cluttered bathroom in Queens).

Sound – get one of those small running water waterfalls that recycle water (so you don’t waste water) so you can hear the relaxing sounds of the spa.

Sight – Use neutral colors which can be very relaxing. Avoid glossy colors as they are loud and obnoxious and anything but relaxing. Get fresh white linen curtains. I personally have a white shower curtain in my house along with neutral white tile with a matte finish. My bathroom remodeling contractor recommended this when he worked on my home in Queens. Also, clear the clutter in your bathroom (and the rest of your home clutter while you are at it). In addition, make sure all you can see is your favorite soap and some big fluffy towels. Make sure to get rid of all those depressing old tooth brushes and toiletries and shove them somewhere where they cannot be seen.

Smell – go to your local scent store and purchase the most exotic and intoxicating air fresheners & candles.

In conclusion, if it smells like a spa, looks likes a spa, sounds like a spa, then guess what, it is a spa. Just make sure to find a good bathroom remodeling company that will provide you with the proper tile, bath, or Jacuzzi.
